The idea crossed our mind on 2023 and it took us almost 3 months to get it done. Our R&D team started with scanning the demo car, components including front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper and rear trunk.
Following was a series of original sketches to identify which look suits the electric sedan best.
The final design was carefully chose after a lot of debates or even fighting.
After testing out the 3D-printed parts, we started to make the mould. Guys, pay attention please, we use ALUMINUM ALLOY mould to make sure it’s perfectly fitted on your Porsche Taycan, although we know some of manufacturers use high-temperature proxy mould, which is a lot cheaper and wears out easily.
When the samples arrived, the team installed them on their Porsche Taycan. The installation consisted of 3M double-sided tape using OEM fitting holes and additional self-tapping screws through the underside of the front bumper and side skirts. As expected, all parts lined up perfectly.
